3. From refuge Certascan to Pinet by l'Artiga pass, 2480 m.

Time: 7.45 h.
Difficulty:*** We move on high mountain terrain with a very upright slopes and with pathes in a lot of places nearly nonexistents.
This stage is wonderful because as well as to pass through the Romedo lakes, it leads us through the lonely l'Artiga valley and the Montestaure lake, where the livestock-farming pathes nearly had disappeared. Also we can admire the impressives unevenness of the french valleys, cause in a few kilometres there are some abysses of more than 2000 metres.
From the refuge we follow the itinerary marked in the picture like nº 1 and after the 24 to the Llurri pass.

We go down to the Romedo de Baix lake and we follow the 39 itinerary to the l'Artiga pass, where we enter in the Ariège side.

From the pass we go down to the shelves at 2110 metres.

We go up next to the ravine and after pass the Montestaure lake we arrive to the Pointe de Recós.

From the Pointe de Recós we go down and we flank to, after, cross the river and arrive to the refuge Pinet.
