2. From the refuge Graus to the Certascan, by the Certascan peak 2853 m.

Unevenness: -620, +1500 m.
Distance: 12,5 kms.
Time: 6.20 h. Without doing the peak 5.15 hours. Difficulty: *** The only difficulty is the guiding and the unevenness, and also the snow that we can find to go down from the Certascan pass.

Even though the Noarre shepherd's houses are so attractive and they are in a pretty place, this stage, that also follows the crossing of the Pyrenees, gets all it sense when gets to know us all the Blaus lakes.
The Noarre shepherd's houses doesn't has access road with vehicle and even though this they keep so good. The few residents that used to go up from Tavascan, to live all the summer when they used to take the herds to the mountain, are more and more reluctant to go up and only Jaques continues living in Noarre.
Even though doing the Certascan peak there's quite a lot unevenness to overcome, the route isn't so long. In the event of need if from the Certascan pass we go down directly to the refuge we will save 250 metres of unevenness, a few more than an hour.

From Graus we follow the itinerary nº 28 to the Certascan pass.

From the Certascan pass we go up by the itinerary nº 9b until the Certascan peak of 2853 m., and we come back to the pass.

From the Certascan pass we follow the itinerary nº 9, we go down to the Certascan lake, this is the bigest of the Pyrenees, and to the refuge.
